About the Study
This study focuses on evaluating a new treatment for adults with IBS-D and IBS-M. It consists of two parts, and after the first part, some participants will be chosen to either get a higher dose or stop the treatment.
What does the study involve?
Participants will receive either a placebo (a non-active treatment) or the new treatment.

What to expect

Placebo
You may receive a placebo (a look-alike with no active medicine).
Which treatment you get
Chosen at random. Neither you nor the study team will know which treatment you get.
Who can participate?
We're looking for adults aged 18 to 80 with IBS-D or IBS-M who have had symptoms for at least 6 months. You should have moderate to severe IBS symptoms and experience significant abdominal pain. Think you might qualify? Apply to find out!
