Who builds LocalTrial
LocalTrial is a service of AVAIA, LLC. Here is why it exists, from the person who started it.
I'm Jorge. Research only moves medicine forward when people take part, and taking part should be easy. I started LocalTrial so people can find the studies near them that fit, in a minute, and so research sites can reach the people their studies need.
I've spent more than 20 years building software, the last few on AI systems that let people ask questions about their own data in plain language. That's why research sites can talk to LocalTrial from Claude. It's also why LocalTrial treats the health information people share with it the way I'd want mine treated.
